In-Home Pet & House Sitting In Austin

Someone who stays.
Not just stops by.

Whether it’s your dog, your cat, or just your home while you’re away, I move in for the length of your trip. Your house stays lived-in, your pet stays with someone who’s actually there.

About

Who’s actually staying in your home.

Hi, I'm Anthony and I've lived in Austin for 27 of my 28 years. I grew up with pets my whole life and at one point had 7 total. To this day, I still can’t walk past one without stopping to pet it. I’ve been called a dog whisperer more times than I can count and I’m just as comfortable with cats.

I'm not just a random guy staying in your home I actually have a known presence here in the city. I own two home service companies here in Austin where I work remote for a better half of the year and I am deeply tied into communities here in town. In fact, we probably even have some mutual friends. I’s the whole reason people trust me with your keys.

I take these opportunities very seriously and I handle your home like a professional. That said, I’ll also be the person on the floor playing with your dog when you are gone, not just taking a walk and putting them back.

Lastly, I’m genuinely clean by nature, I’ve always been the one tidying up after roommates and friends, and I've had multiple clients say it looks better than when they left. Nothing beats returning back to a clean home and a taken care of pet.

Two paths

Two reasons to book. One standard of care.

Pet Sitting

In-home overnight care for dogs and cats. Same bed, same yard, same routine, just a different person in the house. Nothing about your pet’s day has to change while you’re gone.

House Sitting

No pets, no problem. Mail collected, plants watered, lights on, and the house looking exactly as you left it - occupied, cared for, and ready when you walk back in.

The Difference

An app sends a stranger. This is someone who stays.

Typical app sitter

  • 15–30 minute drop-in visits

  • A different sitter each time

  • In and out, then gone

  • Your pet and home alone most of the time

  • Matched to you by an algorithm

In-Home Austin

  • Lives in the home for the full trip

  • The same person, every single time

  • The full routine, not a checklist

  • Company day and night

  • Direct contact (no app or algorithm required)

Why bookings are selective

I’ve had my own dogs, and I’ve lived with them in several parts of Austin including downtown. Leaving them behind was terrifying every time. What if they got out. What if something happened. What if they were miserable the whole week and I’d never know. That feeling is exactly why I take a small number of bookings, and why I only accept if I can fully meet the needs of the family.

The Routine

What staying actually looks like.

Mornings start with getting up, getting fed, and getting walked. The day fills in the way it normally would: play in the yard, a walk when it cools off, a long stretch of couch time in the afternoon while I work, etc.

Then I stay overnight in the home, which means at 2 in the morning your dog isn’t alone in a dark house waiting for a door to open. Somebody’s there.

This isn’t a visit dropped into an otherwise empty week. It’s your pet’s normal week, in your pet’s normal house, with me in it instead of you.

The Process

How to set up

01

Reach out with your dates

Call or text with the trip window. I'll verify whether this is possible or not.

02

A quick call to confirm fit

We have a short conversation about your pet, your home, and whether I’m the right fit for this sit.

03

In-person consultation at the home

I come to you, meet your pet, and walk the routine room by room. This happens before every booking.

04

Confirm and book

Dates locked, keys and access sorted, and we agree exactly how updates will work.

05

The stay & the handoff

Updates arrive exactly how you asked for them: photos, texts, calls, or nothing at all. Then I hand the home back the way you left it, with a happier pet in it.
